On 17 October 2025, Vulcan Energy awarded the Phase-1 lithium plant and equipment contract for the Lionheart Project in Landau, Germany to JordProxa – an Australian company. The contract worth around €140 million, and it covers provision of technology and equipment for lithium purification and concentration process.
